It is time for another Sharing Saturday. Today I will be sharing a Rhetorical Analysis Essay on the commercial “Puppy Love” by Budweiser.
A story of an unlikely friendship. A heart-wrenching tale of a dog and a horse promoting Budweiser beer. “Puppy Love” is a commercial appealing to logos, ethos, and pathos in such a way that it is one of the most popular ads aired during a Super Bowl. It efficaciously captivates the audience which is aimed at friends who can legally drink. Furthermore, through the actors, dogs, horses, and the brand, the audience is shown that Budweiser is reliable and trustworthy. The audience is appealed to through the emotions that the commercial displays. Budweiser effectively sells its products through an engaging story evoking the idea that Budweiser is for friends, has a sense of credibility, and elicits an effective emotional response, which results in higher sales.
