A Popular Book or Series that everyone seems to hate except you
I loved this series but my family hated it. Ok, maybe they didn’t outright despise it but they found it boring. Honestly, though I adored this series even if a hundred pages was of them walking through tunnels.
A love triangle where the main character ended up with the person you did NOT want them to end up with
I always hated Peeta and the actor didn’t help. I was pretty angry when Katniss ended up with Peeta instead of Gayle who I think is a much better character.
A popular Book Genre that you hardly reach for
I hardly ever pick up realistic fiction or Horror. I am starting to read more in these departments but I mostly stay away from these genres.
A popular or beloved character that you do not like
I would have to say I hated Tris Priar. She was such a pity party in the second book that I couldn’t stand her. For me the series continually got worse.
A Popular author that you can’t seem to get into
I just can’t get into Veronica Roth. After the end of the Divergent series I just can’t bring myself to read any of her books. I heard of the Carve of the Mark but am hesitant to read it.
A Popular Book Trope you’re tired of seeing ( example: Love triangles, corrupt rulers, ” Lost Princesses”)
I am so sick of reading of characters who find their powers and then in the second or third book lose them temporarily because some cruel villain has them in their clutches.
A Popular Series that you have no interest in reading
I don’t really have and answer for this one. I will read almost anything and if I find that it is horrendous than I shall stop reading it.
The saying goes “The book is always better than the movie”, but what movie or T.V. show adaptation do you prefer more than the book?
None! In my opinion the book is almost always better than the movie
